Six men, including two policemen, who allegedly stole diesel have failed to get back their vehicles, cellphones and money that were confiscated by police. A diesel thief was sentenced to 13 years for the theft of diesel from a Transnet fuel line. Hawks spokesperson Captain Ndivhuwo Mulamu said 27-year-old Batsarai Chimutanga was spotted in a mielie field in Klip River in the Vaal area.
